An impact sound underlay must fulfil a wide range of requirements, such as improving walking and impact sound and protecting against dynamic loads, flammability and levelling out unevenness. In addition, the thermal insulation behaviour of heated or cooled floors plays a decisive role. The impact sound underlay '1019 V-Protect' is suitable for floating click vinyl floors. The impact sound underlay with a thickness of 1.0 mm is technically impressive in many respects. Thanks to the impact sound reduction of over 18 dB and its walking sound reduction of 6%, every floor is quiet. The impact sound insulation is also suitable for laying over underfloor heating (thermal resistance of 0.0145 m²K/W). Due to the pressure load of more than 200 kPa, the floor and the associated click connections are relieved and the durability of the floor is increased. Thanks to the levelling capacity of 0.5 mm, minor unevenness at certain points can be evened out. The product is ecologically and physiologically harmless and can be recycled. It also has good to very good resistance to chemicals. The impact sound underlay can be easily cut to size with a cutter knife.
