Ready for wide?
Vinyl in wide plank format gives rooms an extraordinary presence
It is always there and has to put up with a lot. We trample it underfoot and usually pay it little attention. It should be as durable, easy-care and naturally beautiful as possible: The flooring in our homes has to meet a wide range of requirements, but it also has a major influence on the effect of the room - the feeling of well-being stands and falls with it.
The choice of a new floor should therefore be carefully considered and always tailored to the room in question. A real insider tip for large rooms is vinyl flooring in wide plank format such as that from CHECK. The unusual dimensions are striking and look particularly chic. It gives the room a sense of spaciousness, making it appear more open and inviting. In addition, the decor and surface of the vinyl are shown to their best advantage on the wide planks. It is also ideal if they have an all-round, lacquered joint. In this way, each individual plank is emphasized separately and the room is also visually enlarged. As with the new CHECK one wide planks - now with a wear layer of 0.3 millimetres instead of the previous 0.55 millimetres. The highlight of the current version: the floor is still so robust that it can be used anywhere in the home and even in moderately commercial areas, but its attractiveness has increased significantly in terms of price due to the lower wear layer. A total of nine different oak decors are available. As is usual with the vinyl floors in the CHECK one range, they all have a mineral, plasticizer-free core board. This means that they are more rigid and heat-resistant than conventional vinyl floors, which also makes it possible to install them in front of floor-to-ceiling windows or in conservatories. The lack of plasticizers also benefits the health of your home. By the way: In a test by the magazine "Heimwerker Praxis", CHECK one Click Vinyl 2018 received a score of 1.4 (very good - good) and was praised as convincing in the areas of durability, click connections and surface properties. The only question that remains is: is my room ready for wide?
